Starfish #2 is a textile sculpture that belongs to the Things of Nature collection.
The pieces presented in this collection are artistic representations of natural elements. These elements of the sea and the land (corals, anemones, starfish, shells) are seen through a magnifying glass and reinterpreted through textile techniques - knitting and crochet, worked to create "appetizing" volumes. The different threads used allow us to approximate natural textures, creating sensations that provoke pleasure, especially in two senses - the visual and the tactile. These "Soft Works" are light, soft and moldable pieces that invite you to touch, embrace, feel and love.
