Marita Setas Ferro, born in 1967 in Beira, Mozambique, is a Portuguese creative and cultural manager specializing in art, fashion, sustainability and crafts. She integrates these areas into innovative projects as a fashion designer, sculptor and creative director, focusing on Fine Craft and heritage. Holds a Master’s degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto (2009) and two post-graduate degrees: Design and Marketing - Clothing (University of Minho) and Cultural Management in Cities (ISCTE/ INDEG). Her brand, Marita Moreno (2008), highlights the Portuguese textile craft in fashion, with accessories presented at fashion weeks in New York, London, Paris and Milan. Marita received the German Design Award in the category Eco Design with a vegan and handmade shoe.
